I put Jack on the activity mat today, and he loved it! He smiled and cooed at the smiling star, and his arms and legs went wild with excitement. The song it plays brings me right back to when James was that age. So long ago, but it seems like just yesterday!
It was so much fun getting the boys dressed to go out tonight for the first time in a while. James, Josh, and I went to Sesame Street Live with Mary Beth, Elizabeth, and Bryon. Nana and Deedah watched Jack, Matthew, and Thomas. We had to have a photo shoot before we left!
Matthew comes over to my house occasionally to entertain James when I need a break! James adores Matthew and is his little protege. James already looks and acts similar to Matthew, and Matthew loves hearing about how James acts a lot like he did as a two-year-old. Matthew is so sweet with James! When I was pregnant with Jack, Matthew said, "Thomas, I get James and you can have Jack." :)
This was not planned, but Kelton came over today, and he and James were dressed almost identically! Different clothes, but same look! The last picture cracks me up.
This was too adorable not to run and get the camera. James is such a daddy's boy and wants to do everything that Daddy is doing, exactly like he is doing it. It is one of the sweetest things about having a 2 year old boy!
This is Jack's first time in the bumbo seat, and he loved it! He sat in it for about 30 minutes this morning, and I think he really enjoyed the new view!
James has rediscovered his love for the exersaucer! He thinks it's neat that he used to play in there when he was a baby.
We put Jack in the exersaucer for the first time today. He wasn't too into it, but he was pretty happy just sitting in there (with the help of a blanket around him and book underneath) and looking at me! The sun caught his eye at one point, and he lit up, but he didn't last too long in there. We'll try it again in a couple of weeks!
